Love Australian Prawns

LAP-Logo.jpgThe Love Australian Prawns campaign has moved into its second year, with kits being distributed to over 400 specialist seafood retailers nation-wide during November 2014. 

"The roll-out of the new materials is to support the annual sales of Australian prawns and does have a focus on the summer period and other significant times and events during the year like Australia Day. It is the next phase in the exciting LAP campaign that commenced last year.

"Based on feedback from retailers who received the materials in Year One, we have focused on posters and recipe cards for the stores to use. These summer kits will be followed up in early 2015 with a second kit, with recipes and posters focused on winter to stimulate demand through what is traditionally a quieter time" said Miles Toomey, who is managing the implementation of the campaign on behalf of the Australian prawn fishers and farmers nationwide. 

"As well as the promotional material kits for the specialist retailers and producer outlets, look out for some innovative LAP publications in leading supermarkets in the upcoming months" Miles said.
